Our new CEO: Anna van Wassenaer

- I had been following Vitec for a while, its focus on software, the acquisitions, its vision on being essential and reliable partners for their clients. It is an approach which I believe in. I believe in the dynamics of software. Software is scalable, it grows through the power of the solution. Vitec Memorix is a carve-out with an excellent solution which needs its own structures and processes to be able to scale and blossom in the future.

- For the past 20 years I have been working with software. I have experienced small and corporate businesses. As CEO for Diana Fea I restructured the company and led it to a successful exit for the private equity owners. As industry leader at IBM I set up two successful new business units, for digital business and for cloud security. I started my career as a business consultant with McKinsey in London, which I cherish as the DNA of my business activities.

My home is in Amsterdam, I have three children – one of whom recently got married - and I spend my weekends in Germany on a farm in the Teutoburg forest where we develop regenerative energy and nature preservation. On the last day before starting at Vitec Memorix I picked these apples! (photo to the right) 

- The opportunities in the business are also its challenges. Pictures have become more important than words for documentation, and the standards regarding precision and features are rising. The software business is developing at a rapid pace, innovation and user friendliness are essentials. AI offers new functionalities that are becoming industry standard. 

Vitec Memorix’ clients predominantly come from the public sector, with high standards and budgets under pressure. In this market, only players who offer a clear and unique proposition to solve specific client problems, who manage to build deep client relationships will be successful.

- We have an excellent software solution and a great, motivated team. We can only succeed if we understand the needs of our customers, build great relationships and focus for Vitec Memorix on building the most essential solutions. There is a host of opportunity in the Netherlands and internationally. We will strengthen our commercial capabilities to serve existing clients better and to build lasting relationships with new customers to grow the company in the future.
