One of the most consulted archive sources is your construction file archive. In collaboration with our customers, we have developed an application that allows for the use of construction files by archive employees, the municipality, but also citizens. The application enables you to work fully in accordance with the laws and regulations regarding copyright and privacy. Both already digitized and physically available construction files can be accessed in a public-friendly manner via this tool.

The Construction File Application is the solution for making your digital collection of construction files searchable, managing and publishing that is in line with the development that municipalities are undergoing in the field of digital services.

Vitec Memorix developed its own software infrastructure to manage your digital collection: Memorix Maior. Our package is the result of collaboration and knowledge gained in the more than twenty years that Vitec Memorix has been working in the heritage and archive sector.

Our software is continuously adapted to provide the sector with software that continues to serve the sector with the latest capabilities. Memorix Maior is suitable for a wide variety of collection types including: Photos, posters, films, libraries, museum collections, monuments and construction files.

Structure and simplicity

Digital collections can contain enormous numbers of files or documents. As a result, these collections are often diverse and complex. Through our Digital Asset Management (DAM), your digital collections are securely stored on one of the best storage systems available.

With Memorix Maior your files are easy to manage, clearly organized and easily searchable (online) through manageable metadata.

This service ensures legal privacy protection, takes into account current legislation and minimizes risks for municipalities, archive services and citizens. Copyrighted drawings or scans containing privacy-sensitive data will not be provided to third parties. non-public files are marked.

Digitizing on request

For files where the file information is available but the scans have not yet been made or linked, it is possible to apply “Digitization on Request”:

  • The user searches for a file and pays the costs for digitization via the webshop.
  • The archive employee digitizes the material and uploads it into the application.
  • The selection of the scans that can be sent to the user is made by the employee.
  • The user receives a link in which he can view the construction file digitally and possibly download it.

Information about all buildings in the Netherlands is available via the BAG. We create a link to this data in the Application construction file

  • Showing additional information about the building itself. For example, status, use, realization.
